Be careful what you think in church...

So my dear friend Marty got baptized into the Catholic Church last night. (The things we will do for love). And I am very happy for him. I gathered with 12 other people to see he rebirth as a Christian man- or as his fiance called it "Becoming a real boy."

So we get to the church and I was told the service would be 20 minutes. That is one thing I appreciate the Catholics, they get it done efficiently. You are in and out and on your way in no time flat.

Unfortunately, the priest was the slowest talker ever! We are talking REALLY slow. I even messed up the Lord's Prayer because I was sooo distracted by how slow he was leading the prayer. So the whole thing took over an hour. Sigh... it was painful. So I am commenting to my friend about how slow he spoke as we were leaving the church...when my other friend Tarah comes up and tells me the poor man has a brain tumor and that is why he speaks so slowly.

Now, I just feel awful. I am surprised God didn't strike me down right there on the spot, for speaking poorly of a man of the cloth. I guess God is just trying to teach me patience this week...and to keep my ignorant mouth shut.
